VOLUNTEER ABROAD

Twice a year, NTA sends monitoring teams to check up on our projects in eastern Indonesia. Now, you can be a part of it. You'll get to spend a minimum of three weeks travelling the Indonesian countryside, meeting some of the most isolated communities and directly helping them to dramatically improve their living conditions and break free from the cycle of poverty; and you don't need to be loaded to do it.

In fact, applicants for our Volunteer Abroad program must, if selected, pay for the trip entirely by fundraising. From there, we'll take care of everything, and any funds left over go directly to the projects you'll be visiting. We'll support you as you raise the funds, providing you with a Fundraising Pack and access to other useful resources such as graphic design and free advertising for your events or initiatives on our website, mailing list and on other promotional material. We'll also set you up with a sponsorship page to allow your friends, family and colleagues to contribute to the target.

The trip itself is highly tailored to the individual. You can choose to spend your time in a single village to help them with construction, agriculture or teacher training to name a few examples; or you can stay with the monitoring team to see a diverse range of projects across three different islands.
